Housework Who Needs It!

Me and my eldest daughter Kayleigh met up in Uxbridge this week. We chatted about various things that had happened and then she said, “ Mum don’t worry Sophia will be fine.” I know I will get through this, but at what cost. My daughter has returned to university life to do a degree in electrical engineering. I don’t want her worrying about my situation, but clearly she is thinking about it from her reply.

We quickly switched the subject to the party that happened. Apparently the birthday girl had been talking about the condition of my home and how I need to get things in order. Apparently people In the Trinidadian community had been gossiping. My eyebrow raised at the conversation. How dare someone come into my home and complain it is a shit pit. I know it is a shit pit, but why should I make my home a palace for people to ransack it. Is this women mad or what? We do not have the money to fix the issues with my home. Not only that I am recovering still from breast cancer. Yet people think I should be putting my efforts into a house that I have no say over.

So I put my feelings up on FB so others can read them and the replies from other BC girls.

Sarah: Sometimes certain people convo's should be focused elsewhere. My home is in bits.. and do I give a ****, NO! . Cos my life is more important. Pleases stop chatting my business cos you only see the exterior, not the interior where my life is concerned. If strangers can bad mouth my home or me they have no time to do it to someone else. You know who you are... ty

F: Up there viva ! let’s hope they don’t see my bedroom !!! lol xx

B: My friends think my house is clean, they don't see certain rooms! LOL!

C: You go girl xxxxxxxxx

Sarah: Ty ladies.. these people that gossip and offer zero help need to seriously think before opening their mouths.. of course I want a fab home .. but I ain't no Jones.. and I do not see the point in wasting money on quick fixes disguising issues that need a lot of money putting in.. the fact is whilst Steve wants his parties etc .. and certain people are putting their foot threw my flooring .. there is no point.. just yet .. besides there’s loads of time to fix things .. my health is more important.

D: We had the "great" idea of having our log home shell put up by the contractor and we would finish the inside ourselves. If I could sell this house I would! I HATE LIVING LIKE THIS!

Sarah: I inherited the house that Jack bloody built .. if these people actually knew anything about buildings they would realize it costs money to have a palace .. which we don't have lol!

T: It is time consuming! You don't think that living with half finished stuff would bother you.......till you live like that! We have 5 kids plus my cancer, we have other things we want to enjoy other then killing ourselves on this house!

A: I think people who are like this really just do not like themselves!!! Sorry Sarah! I judge by someone’s heart not their home!

Venting some steam helps to clear the cobwebs so they say, but I wanted the people chatting rubbish to.. Back off or else! Now come party at my home?
