A cupcake is just a cupcake until you bake it yourself.
Sophia sold ninety six cupcakes over two days and raised around £90 for cancer research uk. This all happened with the help of parents, teachers and her school friends who I give a warm hearted thank you to. They even asked if I would be baking more for Monday. I said it was just the two days which was met with disappointed eyes. The scrum that was on to buy a cupcake or cakes was strange to see. They all sold within 30 minutes not even Sophia’s form tutor got a look in. My young daughter was smart she dipped her finger in one so it could not be sold. She said she wanted to taste one like her friends.

I should be proud that people like my baking so much, but the sense of relief was written all over my face. People do not understand that you may bake, but you cannot eat your own produce all the time. Ok a little fib there; yes I did sneak one and a nipple of the chocolate butter frosting, but after I do feel guilty for indulging NOT!
These past few days have been both rewarding and exciting. I have completed a top ready for a fitting tomorrow. Zapped up five black cloaks and asked about designing a set for a stage production the cloaks will appear with. The acting well let’s just say only good news on that part. Things are changing there’s a new tide fast approaching it’s whether I can surf board to a fresh chapter. I have my appointment to look forward to with my plastic surgeon on the 16th, but I am not deterred in anyway. I think things are going to start moving for the better. Cancer let me give you a big fat juicy cuddle because you gave me the kick I needed. Sometimes you do not realise what you have until you are about to lose it.
