Revenge Is Sweet!

29th January 2010

Had to leave a message for my BC nurse. There was no way I could go to the clinic for my appointment. To go there knowing how lethal this virus is would be selfish. Especially when some of these women are going through major surgery with drugs and their immune systems will be weak.

Revenge is sweet for those who wait. I looked to the sky’s and my pray was answered as nasty as it may sound. Steve has contracted the same gastric virus Sophia had. Now I know gastric viruses are contagious, but after what I have gone through I think it is bitter sweet. Bless him he cannot leave the house because he needs a toilet close by. I have got my fingers crossed that I do not contract it. It would end up with me in hospital because of my sugar levels.
Sandra is so looking forward to me visiting her up north at the week end. I just hope I do not have to cancel it. Steve said he would take care of Sophia, But in his state he could not take care of himself let alone Sophia. He does look really pale and there is a tinge of guilt on my side. But I deserve time away from Sophia I barely get out on my own as it is. Even Steve encouraged me to book the train tickets for the trip. Which does leave question marks?

The gastric virus has caught up with me too. I went straight to the chemist and bought some diarrhoea tablets to stop it or slow it down.  I was advised not to do this by the doctors, but I don’t want to be in hospital with it.

It is 10 pm and so far so good, looks like I have stopped it. Steve had found it amusing that I had to come back home. So much to him saying I need a break. Now he can remain in bed now. I am left to take care of Sophia even if I am ill. Brings into question what Sophia’s weekend with daddy would have been like.
