Another appointment and the ticking clock await my arrival at the BC clinic. My results from the samples taken of cyst fluid are clear of any nasty, but my breast is still playing the arse. My breast still shows two areas with calcification which needs monitoring still. They say these changes seem to be natural and nothing to worry about, but they have booked me in for another six month appointment. The oncologist still took further slide samples of fluid that is still being produced in the breast which I was hoping had dried up. I will get my results via post from the slide in a couple of weeks no doubt.
As for my newly tattooed nipple well it is not perfect, but perfect is actually being with my daughters. Sometimes no matter what Mother Nature throws at you, you have to thank your lucky stars that the outcome is not the latter of the two.
